Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and supervise construction projects from start to finish. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate daily operations, manage teams, ensure safety compliance, and uphold quality standards.
Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide on-site activities
- Oversee daily site operations, including safety compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards
- Conduct quality control inspections and oversee construction drawing review to ensure adherence to design intent
- Supervise subcontractors and vendors, manage contracts, and ensure all work aligns with project scope and schedules
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication
- Interpret technical data using tools like ohmmeters for electrical systems testing when necessary
- Ensure proper management of the pipeline of materials and resources needed for ongoing construction activities
- Enforce safety protocols on-site, conduct regular safety meetings, and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
Experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects with a focus on heavy civil or federal construction projects
- Demonstrated ability managing teams in a construction management role with supervision experience in diverse site environments
- Extensive knowledge of construction drawing review, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation
- Hands-on experience with construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations
- Skilled in managing contracts, budgeting processes, and cost estimating through Construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or equivalent software
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when required
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Prior experience supervising crews on complex projects involving pipeline installation or infrastructure development is highly desirable
