Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Applies radiologic knowledge to provide diagnostic imaging services for patients of all ages while adhering to radiation safety and organizational policies. Demonstrates competency in general radiography and fluoroscopy by acquiring and evaluating images for technical quality, ensuring proper patient identification and image labeling. Independently supports invasive procedures in the operating room using a C-Arm and/or O-Arm.
Participates in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing workflows, patient experience, quality, and safety to improve patient care and operational efficiency. Actively participates in student and employee training and educational activities.
Maintains a clean, safe, and prepared work environment, including cleaning and preparing patient rooms. Maintains supplies and inventory within the assigned area.
Prioritizes patient flow and coordinates care through consistent and effective communication with patients, care teams, and families. Documents patient care activities in electronic health record systems and distributes final images to the PACS system in a timely manner for interpretation.
Consistently demonstrates professionalism in actions and communication, embodying the organization's SPIRIT values and fostering a respectful and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues. Adheres to the ARRT Standards of Ethics.
This position has a hiring range of : USD $29.73 - USD $48.63 /Hr.
