- Diagnose and repair trailers
- Perform repairs and maintenance on wheel ends, brake systems, and air suspension systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and diagnostic issues
- Perform preventative maintenance, and routine inspections
- Repair and replace tires as needed
- Conduct DOT inspections and identify needed repairs to ensure compliance
- Complete work orders and service documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and service standards
- Communicate repair needs and job status with management and team members
- Previous experience in trailer repair preferred
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems
- Experience with brakes, wheel ends, suspension, electrical, and diagnostics
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- CDL is a plus, if applicable
- Ability to lift heavy parts and tools with or without assistance
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in a shop environment for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and around heavy equipment
- Ability to safely use tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, and shop machinery
