Duties
- Engage in outside sales efforts by prospecting new clients through community outreach, networking events, and telemarketing campaigns
- Conduct thorough analysis of client needs to recommend appropriate insurance products such as auto, health, life, or property coverage
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements
- Maintain detailed sales administration records, including client information, policy details, and follow-up activities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy benefits, and assisting with claims processes
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies that increase brand awareness and attract new customers
- Administer benefits programs and support clients in understanding their coverage options while ensuring compliance with regulations such as HIPAA where applicable
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to analyze client data to recommend suitable insurance solutions
- Familiarity with sales administration tools and CRM software for managing client interactions and follow-ups
- Knowledge of insurance sales processes along with marketing strategies to attract diverse customer segments
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset; proactive problem-solving skills are essential
- Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term client relationships while adhering to industry regulations such as HIPAA for health-related policies
