Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Reads and interprets hydraulic schematics and blueprints and hand sketches.
- Locates components in fluid systems and determines method of plumbing.
- Selects pipe and tube size, determine wall thickness, and select fittings and method of attachment.
- Uses hand and power tools and machine equipment as directed. i.e., tube bender, flaring machine, grinders, etc.
- Performs testing of completed units and static testing of components and assemblies.
- Troubleshoots hydraulic components and hydraulic systems.
- Maintains all documents and paperwork pertaining to the job.
- Guides and directs lower-level mechanics work effort when necessary.
- Works effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, timetables and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions; addressing others by name, title or other respectful identifier, and; respecting the diversity of our work force in actions, words and deeds.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Education and Experience:
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
