As a Housekeeper you are responsible for the cleanliness of the community. Cleaning common areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, windows, floors, and furniture.
Your contribution adds value to the service we provide by maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
The Housekeeper must be able to work freely and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.
Essential Functions:
Perform a full range of housekeeping duties, including:
- Distributing clean linens and articles
- Replacing and hanging draperies
- Changing bed linens as needed
- Cleaning common area restrooms and replenishing supplies
- Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
- Dusting furniture and equipment
- Polishing metal fixtures
- Washing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
Handle all laundry responsibilities, including:
- Washing, drying, folding, ironing, and hanging resident laundry and community linens
- Using provided laundry appliances appropriately
- Distributing clean laundry and linens
- Changing bed linens and replacing draperies as needed
- Washing windows at reasonable heights throughout the community
Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Able to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and/or employees.
