Guest Services Attendants (Shuttle Drivers/Bellmen) are in constant communication with the Front Office and Valet to ensure guests are escorted and their luggage and personal items are transported to and from the guest rooms efficiently. It’s important to ensure that guests are comfortable with accommodations and are familiar with room offerings and features.
A Guest Services Attendant safely and efficiently transports guests to local destinations by operating a hotel car, van or shuttle. This role requires precise communication and coordination with the hotels communication base and compliance with local driving regulations. Guest Services Attendants are frequently asked general information about the hotel, give recommendations on the surrounding area, and are required to assist the passengers during the loading and unloading process. Ensuring that the vehicle is clean, fueled, and any necessary service communicated to appropriate person is required.
Qualifications:
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends.
