Overview:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Caterers to join our team. As a Caterer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage services for various events and functions. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests, we would love to hear from you. If you cook we would like to have you, if you do not cook, we would also like to have you
Duties:
- Prepare and present a variety of food and beverage items for catering events
- Set up and decorate event spaces according to client specifications
- Coordinate with clients to determine menu selections, dietary restrictions, and special requests
- Ensure all food preparation and service adheres to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with event planning, including determining quantities of food and beverages needed
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests, ensuring their needs are met throughout the event
- Maintain inventory of catering supplies and equipment, restocking as necessary
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth execution of events
- Clean and sanitize work areas before, during, and after each event
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in catering or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of bussing, restaurant, hotel, or guest services is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as required
