Responsibilities
- Safely operate end dump trucks and concrete mixers to deliver materials to construction sites with precision and efficiency
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to schedule deliveries and ensure timely arrival of materials
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, checking mechanical systems, brakes, lights, and fluid levels to maintain optimal safety standards
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using loaders or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and compliance documentation in accordance with safety regulations
- Support other construction activities such as concrete finishing, rebar installation, or paving as needed on-site
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating dump trucks and concrete mixers
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including dump trucks, concrete mixers, excavators, loaders, and pumps
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety protocols and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting basic issues with trucks and mixers
- Construction site experience with familiarity in concrete forming, paving, rebar installation, and concrete pumping is highly desirable
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and site personnel
