The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent administrative skills, proficient in technology (such as Microsoft Office suites and Blackboard).
The ability to read and follow directions (such as academic rubrics).
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain concepts and ideas to students.
Strong classroom management
Bachelor’s degree preferred
This position seeks a candidate who is passionate about education and student success. The Tutor will oversee regularly scheduled study halls throughout the week with the Bryant & Stratton College athletes, keep track of student attendance and academic progress, provide clarification and assistance on assignments, and communicate with the Learning Resources Center Coordinator, academic team, and athletic coaches. The candidate will be required to be proficient or excellent using Microsoft Office, and ideally Blackboard. The candidate must be comfortable working independently and overseeing large groups of students.
