Tritex Services, a leading provider in the uniform and facility services industry, is seeking a reliable and motivated Route Jumper/Plant Employee for our Calhoun, GA branch. This is a dynamic dual role ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a Route Jumper/Plant Employee at Tritex Services, you will play a vital role in our operations by ensuring timely delivery and pick-up of clean and soiled products. This position is essential for maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clean products to customers on scheduled routes
- Pick up soiled products from client locations regularly
- Assist in the processing of textiles at the plant including washing, drying, pressing, and packaging
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with customers to address any concerns or needs
- Fill in for Route Sales Representatives as needed
As a Plant Employee
- Assist with daily operations in the plant, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding towels and mats
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure quality standards are consistently met
- Maintain a clean and organized work environments
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction
- Ability to manage time efficiently and adhere to schedules
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
