Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, carpets, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques.
- Handle chemical agents safely and correctly, following all safety protocols for cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
- Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, waxing, stripping, and polishing to ensure surfaces are maintained at a high standard.
- Use manual handling techniques to lift, move, and position cleaning equipment or supplies safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal across all assigned zones.
- Operate specialized equipment for carpet cleaning and floor buffing to restore surfaces’ appearance and longevity.
- Follow established janitorial and custodial procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while delivering top-quality service.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or environmental services environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with handling chemical agents safely and knowledge of proper manual handling techniques is advantageous.
- Experience with floor care processes such as waxing, buffing, stripping, or carpet cleaning is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for moving equipment or supplies safely.
- Demonstrated reliability in maintaining cleanliness standards consistently in fast-paced settings.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
