Massage Therapist – Wellness Club
This position is an independent contractor's (1099 Form) position.
We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Massage Therapist to join our wellness club team. This role emphasizes high-quality therapeutic touch, personalized care, and a commitment to our members’ overall well-being.
Position Summary
Provide professional massage therapy services to members and guests
Create personalized treatment plans based on client needs and preferences
Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting treatment space
Build strong member relationships to support ongoing wellness goals
Key Responsibilities
Perform a range of modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports massage) tailored to individual client needs
Assess client health history and contraindications
Adjust technique and pressure to client comfort
Document session details and outcomes for continuity of care
Educate clients on benefits, post-treatment care, and home self-care strategies
Manage appointment book & accommodate member preferences
Adhere to state regulations, club policies, sanitization protocols, and professional standards
Encourage eligible members to utilize services and explain perks
Coordinate with other wellness staff (fitness, spa, esthetics) to support holistic member experiences
Qualifications
Valid Massage Therapy license/certification as required by state/province
Minimum of 2 years of professional massage experience (specify as needed)
Knowledge of multiple modalities and ability to adapt to client needs
Excellent communication, listening, and empathetic skills
Professional appearance and uphold confidentiality and professionalism
CPR/First Aid certification

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
