Seashell Logistics contracts to deliver packages for Federal Express and we are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent safety and customer service skills, as well as the ability to manage routes efficiently. Candidates with experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and heavy lifting will be highly regarded.
No CDL required. No high school diploma required
Must have a current and unrestricted drivers license
Must be at least 21 years old
Must be able to obtain a DOT physical and pass a drug test including marijauna
Duties
- Safely operate a step truck, box truck or similar vehicle for deliveries.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items.
- Follow designated routes and schedules for timely deliveries and pick ups.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- May be required to lift packages up to 150 lbs with hand trucks and dollies
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of packages (routinely up to 50 pounds, rarely up to 150 pounds).
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
- Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics operations.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Pay: $160.00 - $190.00 per day
