What You’ll Do
As an Advanced Practice Provider with TTUHSC Managed Care, you will provide comprehensive patient services under the direct supervision of a Physician or Medical Director, with a strong emphasis on primary care and chronic disease management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Eliciting and documenting detailed patient histories
- Performing comprehensive physical examinations
- Ordering, administering, and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, EKGs, x-rays)
- Providing therapeutic procedures, including: Injections and immunizations, Suturing and wound care, Infection Management.
- Rendering emergency medical care when necessary until physician support is available
