- 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM
- Candidates must be flexible to work either schedule based on practice needs.
- No weekends or holidays (unless specified by the practice).
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Medical Assistant to join a busy Multi-Specialty outpatient practice in Hillsborough, NJ. This is an excellent temp-to-permanent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced clinical environment and providing exceptional patient care.
- Room and prepare patients for provider examinations.
- Obtain and document patient vital signs.
- Perform patient chart preparation prior to appointments.
- Assist physicians and clinical staff during patient visits.
- Perform Point-of-Care Testing (POCT), including:
- Urinalysis
- Rapid Flu Testing
- Rapid Strep Testing
- Blood Glucose Testing
- Other waived laboratory testing
- Accurately document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Maintain exam rooms and ensure proper stocking of clinical supplies.
- Follow infection control and patient safety guidelines.
- Deliver excellent patient service while maintaining confidentiality.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent Medical Assistant experience.
- Previous experience in an outpatient physician office or multi-specialty clinic.
- Experience taking vital signs and rooming patients.
- Experience performing POCT.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work either required day schedule.
- Epic EMR experience (Highly Preferred)
- Experience working in a multi-specialty practice.
- Virtual interview via Microsoft Teams (camera on required).
- Mandatory 4-hour EMR Training
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (includes a 1-hour break)
