Essential Job Duties:
1. Supervises the load of equipment for the job
2. Communicate with the customer regarding operations on the well site
3. Manages the wireline crew and directs their progression and operations in the field and
shop
4. Ensure that all HAZMAT transport is completed as per applicable regulations
5. Fills out service orders and job-related paperwork completely and correctly
6. Driving equipment as directed
7. Assist and direct in the rig up and rig down of equipment
8. Determines proper tool strings for use in the well and directs the makeup of the tool
string
9. Ensures compliance with all Safety Standards and Standard Operating Procedures
10. Clean and maintain equipment
11. Directs the rebuilding of tools used in the servicing of the well and assists as needed
12. Load and assemble perforating guns without supervision
13. Operate and maintain assigned specialized wireline equipment without supervision
14. Maintain a clean shop and work area
15. Assist in the training of all Production Operator positions
16. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Possess and maintain a Class A or B CDL
- Must be able to pass ATF/FBI background check
- Have good written and oral communication skills
- Perform all wireline related engineer tasks without supervision
- Familiar with all wireline tools and services offered in the district
- Can properly fill out service orders for any service
- Operate crane, forklifts and man-lifts as needed
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 5 years wireline experience or equivalent
- Logging background (Calipers, CBL, Temp Tools)
- Plug & abandonment services (Set Plugs / Dump Cement)
- Packer Setting Experience
- Braided Line Operations (Fish Tools/Knock out plugs/Pull RBP)
