American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 24+ months of hospital experience and Level III NICU experience for a hospital position requiring Epic EMR proficiency.
-
Hospital setting with respiratory therapy services across multiple units
-
NICU experience required, including Level III NICU care
-
Uses jet ventilator, Drager ventilator, and oscillator ventilator equipment
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Must be willing and able to float across different units throughout the hospital
-
Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed

RRT credential required; CRTs will not be considered

Minimum 24 months of RRT/Respiratory Therapy experience in a hospital setting
-
NICU experience within the last 18 months required
-
Level III NICU experience within the last 15 months required
-
Must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months; first-time travelers will not be considered

Iowa Respiratory license highly preferred; licensing candidates accepted with 1-3 week turnaround time

License required if applicable

All certifications must be active at time of consideration

BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required

ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required

NBRC certification required
-
PALS certification (AHA) required
-
NRP certification required

Jet ventilator equipment experience required

Drager ventilator equipment experience required

Oscillator ventilator equipment experience required

Driver's license required for consideration

Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred

Provide respiratory therapy services to patients across multiple hospital units including NICU
-
Work as part of a multidisciplinary care team supporting critical care and neonatal patients

Candidates who were previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
