Aldea Home & Baby is a SF and LA-based dynamic, ever evolving retail store specializing in sustainable home goods and essentials for home and baby. We are curious about the world and how we can make a positive impact and love great product design!!
We are looking for an associate who loves to be around people, self-motivated, go-getter, friendly disposition, resourceful and driven! This position is ideal for someone who understands the full service aspect of retail as it’s about 80% of what this job entails.
Baby experience in gear and furniture is a plus, but if you do not have experience in the industry, training will be provided and on-going.
An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.
Essential Functions:
A successful Aldea Home & Baby associate must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation. This sales role is ideal for an individual able to multitask and able to absorb a large amount of knowledge and information.
In addition to sales & service, the associate will also maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, signing and pricing merchandise appropriately. This also includes assisting with our social media platforms and any in store special events.
Provides customer service by acknowledging the customer, identifying customer needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving customer issues and concerns, promoting products and services, maintaining a safe shopping environment, appropriately representing and supporting the company's mission.
Can adapt to changing work demands. Stays focused on own work when faced with change or challenges.
Can move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $22.98 - $27.68 per hour
