Position Summary
The Clinical Director is an experienced senior level staff member at the Three Rivers Program, reporting to the Senior Program Director, and is responsible for the clinical team management and management of all client clinical care and operations to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
*This is a full-time, on-site position located in Belchertown, Mass.*
Essential Position Functions
1. Provides clinical and administrative leadership, and oversees the supervision of all staff to ensure that all program operations comply with ethical, contractual, regulatory, and the Center's standards, goals, policies and procedures. Chairs staff and treatment review meetings.
2. Manages the budget within approved fiscal parameters.
3. Responsible for the recruitment, training, and evaluation of all program staff. Recommends personnel action to supervisor on promotions, discipline, terminations, and other matters.
4. Responsible for program development including: planning; program design; utilization management; system development; accreditation; policies and procedures; community relations; and liaison with funding, referral, licensing and accreditation agencies.
5. Oversee intake screening, treatment planning, clinical and program service provision, service coordination, and discharge in conformance with program, Center, and contractual and regulatory agencies standards, regulations, policies and procedures.
6. Represent program on Center's senior management team, and provide liaison/interface with other departments and programs. Represent program's needs to supervisor.
7. Provide clinical, on-call coverage, and crisis intervention services as needed.
8. Adhere to Cutchins Programs for Children and Families Rules, Standards, and Ethics Policy.
Degree: MLicense and/or Certification: LYears and Type of Experience:
Other Skills or Requirements: Excellent level of verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and supervisory skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical restraints, visual acuity to written and computer screen data, manual coordination and dexterity in the operation of computers and office equipment, and the ability to drive a car with an active and valid driver’s license.
