Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems (HVAC, minor plumbing, minor building electrical, lighting, doors, dock doors, roofs, painting, etc.)
Respond to facility work orders
Maintain grounds, parking areas, fencing, and exterior building appearance
Assist with equipment installation projects
Monitor and maintain critical facility systems (fire alarms, emergency lighting, compressed air, etc.)
Operate and maintain industrial wastewater treatment systems (biological, physical-chemical, DAF, MBR, clarifiers, sludge handling, etc.)
Perform routine process monitoring, sampling, and laboratory testing (pH, TSS, BOD, COD, etc.)
Hourly checks and reporting of the wastewater treatment area
Adjust chemical feed rates, aeration, pumping, and other process parameters to maintain compliance daily
Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on treatment equipment (pumps, blowers, mixers, valves, instrumentation, filter presses, etc.)
Assist during regulatory inspections and sampling events
Respond to treatment process upsets, spills, and emergency situations
