Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while preparing and serving drinks that exceed their expectations. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be essential in this fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Manage cash handling accurately, including operating the cash register and processing payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Stay updated on drink trends, new products, and techniques in bartending.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is required.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of sales techniques to promote drink specials or upsell menu items.
- Familiarity with the food industry, including brewing processes is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements.
