We are seeking a licensed, collaborative, and skilled Chiropractor (DC) to join our team on an as-needed (PRN / Per Diem) basis. This role is ideal for a practitioner seeking to supplement their current clinical hours, build experience in a fast-paced urban practice, or maintain a flexible patient-driven schedule.
How It Works (On-Call / Schedule Flexibility)
- Patient-Driven Bookings: Hours and shifts are based directly on scheduled patient appointments. When a patient books a session, we coordinate with you based on your predefined availability.
- Structured Availability Windows: We work with you to establish 3-to-4-hour availability blocks (e.g., morning or afternoon shifts) to keep your schedule predictable and efficient.
- Late-Cancellation Protections: We respect your time and travel. We maintain a clear patient late-cancellation policy and guarantee base compensation if a patient cancels within 24 hours of their scheduled appointment.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial clinical evaluations, physical examinations, and chiropractic adjustments tailored to individual patient needs.
- Utilize diversified chiropractic techniques, soft-tissue therapies, and corrective exercise recommendations to optimize patient health and recovery.
- Maintain clear, timely, and compliant Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation for every patient visit.
- Collaborate effectively with our interdisciplinary clinical team (acupuncture, physical therapy, and massage therapy) to ensure holistic patient treatment plans.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
- Licensure: Active New York State Chiropractor License (Required).
- Experience: 1–3+ years of clinical outpatient experience preferred (enthusiastic early-career practitioners are welcome to apply!).
- Insurance: Active Professional Liability / Malpractice Insurance.
- Skills: Excellent manual adjusting skills, strong patient communication, and prompt responsiveness regarding scheduling.
