Senior Citizens Home Assistance Service (SCHAS) is hiring compassionate and dependable Caregivers to serve older adults, Veterans, and individuals with disabilities throughout our East Tennessee service area.
SCHAS proudly serves the following counties:
Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, McMinn, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier, and Union Counties.

What SCHAS Caregivers Do:
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Prepare meals and assist with nutrition
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Support client mobility and safety
- Provide transportation to appointments or errands when assigned
- Observe and report changes in client condition
What We’re Looking For:
- Compassion and patience
- Reliability and professionalism
- Strong communication skills
- Respect for client dignity and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently in clients’ homes
- Dependable transportation and valid driver’s license
No Experience Required
Prior caregiving or healthcare experience is helpful, but not required. SCHAS provides orientation, ongoing training, and continuing education opportunities for individuals who have a heart for helping others.

- Must be at least 18 years old

- Ability to understand written and verbal English instructions
