Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Guitar Teacher to inspire and develop students’ musical talents. In this role, you will deliver engaging guitar lessons tailored to each student’s skill level, from beginners to advanced players. Duties
- Design and deliver comprehensive guitar lessons that cater to individual student needs and learning styles
- Demonstrate proper guitar techniques, including chords, scales, fingerpicking, and strumming patterns
- Prepare students for performances, exams, or personal milestones by developing practice routines and performance skills
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Incorporate music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and improvisation into lessons to enhance musical understanding
- Collaborate with students to set achievable goals and track their development over time
Qualifications
- Proven experience teaching guitar across various skill levels, with a focus on engaging instruction
- Strong knowledge of guitar techniques, music theory, and repertoire across genres
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities
- Experience working in an educational setting is highly desirable
- Passion for music education and a commitment to student success
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in music or guitar instruction are preferred
