Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate FULL TIME Mixologist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crafting cocktails and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating innovative drink recipes, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions about the drink menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle cash responsibly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and drink pairings for guests.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, cocktail techniques, and new drink offerings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail ingredients, and presentation styles.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with catering services is a plus, as well as familiarity with sales techniques related to beverage offerings.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for customers is essential.
