Urology Associates has a part-time opening for a File Clerk in our San Luis Obispo Office. This is a busy specialty medical practice with multiple practitioners. Position is not benefit eligible.
The file clerk position ensures the completeness of medical records. Uploading/Scanning patient information into their EMR.
Skills
- Ability to deliver good customer service skills in a busy environment with multiple phone lines.
- An attention to detail and the ability to navigate in multiple computer programs.
- Must be able to use various electronic office equipment (i.e. photocopy machine, scanner, and computer).
- Must be computer savvy, with experience in Outlook and web-based computer software.
Responsibilities
1.) Uploads incoming faxes into EMR system.
2.) Scan/Uploads patients hard copy records into their electronic medical record.
3.) Sorts/separates charts.
Any other duties assigned by office supervisor
