Job Summary
Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families. The LSW will play a vital role in assessing client needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions that promote emotional, social, and behavioral well-being. This position involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and agency standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to helping individuals and families achieve positive outcomes.
Qualifications and Education:
- Must hold an active Ohio LSW license in good standing
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (required)
- Master’s degree in Social Work (preferred)
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a behavioral health or residential setting is strongly preferred
- Strong clinical skills, crisis intervention ability, and knowledge of evidence-based practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in mental health treatment, group facilitation, and service planning.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of C.A.R.F principles and standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented enviroment.
- Knowledge of trauma informed care and evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete psychosocial assessments to determine client needs and strengths.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with clients and interdisciplonary teams.
- Facilitate structured mental health day treatment groups, providing therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with families, caregivers, and other service providers to ensure comprehensive care.
