About the Role
We are looking for an experienced WordPress Web Developer to join our growing team on a flexible, project-based basis. While much of the work can be completed remotely, we strongly prefer someone located within driving distance of Delray Beach so we can collaborate in person when needed.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, solving technical challenges, and building modern, high-performing websites. You'll work on everything from updating existing websites and creating new landing pages to developing complete websites and implementing custom functionality.

Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve WordPress websites
- Design and develop high-converting landing pages using Elementor Pro
- Develop complete websites from concept through launch
- Implement custom functionality and integrations
- Troubleshoot website issues and plugin conflicts
- Optimize website speed, security, and performance
- Manage hosting environments, DNS, SSL certificates, and Cloudflare configurations
- Work with APIs and third-party integrations
- Perform routine website maintenance and updates
- Collaborate with our internal team to bring new ideas and projects to life
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of professional web development experience
- Expert knowledge of WordPress
- Advanced experience with Elementor Pro
- Strong HTML5 and CSS3 skills
- Strong PHP experience
- JavaScript proficiency
- Experience with MySQL databases
- Experience working with Laravel
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Experience configuring and managing Cloudflare
- Experience with website hosting, DNS, SSL certificates, and server environments
- Strong understanding of responsive web design
- Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines

- REST API integrations
- Google Analytics
- Google Tag Manager
- Google Search Console
- Rank Math or Yoast SEO
- cPanel and WHM
- Linux hosting environments
- Figma
- Adobe Creative Suite
- AI development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
