Veterinary Concierge (CSR/Receptionist)
Location: The Village Veterinarian, Chelan, Washington
Hiring for Full-Time (Part-Time considered)!
The Village Veterinarian has been caring for Chelan's pets since 1982. We're looking for a warm, organized, and dependable person to be the welcoming face of our hospital. As the first person our clients and their pets meet, you set the tone for every visit, greeting families, answering questions, and keeping our front desk running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Veterinary Concierge, you'll be a vital part of our client experience team. What we mean by that is outlined below.
Client Experience:
- Welcome clients and their pets by name, check patients in, and own the flow from arrival to discharge
- Answer and triage a busy multi-line phone system, including callers who are stressed, grieving, or scared, with patience, warmth, and genuine empathy
- Schedule appointments and procedures, confirm visits, and handle client callbacks so nothing falls through the cracks
- Process payments and coordinate medical-record requests with other hospitals and specialty practices
Team Support:
- Relay information accurately between clients, the doctor, and the care team
- Help keep reception and shared spaces clean, welcoming and on point
- Cross-train into clinical assisting if you want to grow beyond the desk (we build people here beyond one scope if they want it enough)
- Other tasks as assigned to keep patients moving and the day running smoothly
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of customer service experience (required--hospitality, resort, concierge, or guest-services backgrounds are genuinely valued here; our Practice Manager comes from a background of luxury hospitality)
- Veterinary or medical front-desk experience (preferred, not required, we'll teach you the medicine!)
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Calm multitasker who stays kind and compassionate under pressure
- Clear communicator and genuine team player
- Able to safely lift 30 pounds
- Available four full days per week

- Four-day work week!
- 401(k) with match
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
- Employee pet-care discount
- Room to grow, including cross-training toward clinical assisting
- A team you'll actually want to come to work with
