Position Summary
Perform moderately complex functions in the design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation of manufacturing operations. May prepare complicated plans, conduct support studies, and provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations. May assign work to drafters and/or technicians and provide guidance to lower level engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform moderately complex functions in the design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation of manufacturing operations. - Responsibilities are diverse in scope where analysis of situations or data requires sound judgment
- General guidance given on new assignments as needed
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Ensure companywide electrostatic discharge (ESD) compliance by taking field measurements at workstations.
- Have a working knowledge of 5S principles and apply them to the manufacturing areas.
- Develop clear and concise work instructions as a guide for entry level technicians and specialists.
- Have experience with J-STD-001 and/or IPC-620 requirements with the end goal of becoming a certified trainer.
- Assist the Facilities and Production Teams with occasional product assembly and maintenance tasks requiring multiple people.
- Manage an inventory of ESD control items and production tools.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field with 0+ years applicable engineering experience. Professional Competencies would be Developing
- Eight+ years of applicable experience is an acceptable alternative to a bachelor’s degree.
- Specialties may include production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, and robotics
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting (up to 20 lbs.): up to 25% of time
- Walking: up to 25% of time
- Climbing, Bending, Standing, Stooping: up to 10% of time
- Sitting: up to 75% of time
- Travel: up to enter percentage% of time
