Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen areas. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment while ensuring that all food handling practices are followed to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Support kitchen staff by providing clean cooking utensils and equipment as needed.
- Help with the organization of kitchen supplies and inventory management.
- Participate in cleaning tasks during off-peak hours to maintain overall kitchen hygiene.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation guidelines is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks in a busy kitchen setting.
