About the Role
We are seeking a detail-driven Housekeeping Supervisor to help lead the housekeeping team at Kith Ivy. You will report to the Manager of Housekeeping & Facitilities. This role is responsible for ensuring all club spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, coaching the team to perform at their best, and maintaining seamless coordination across departments.
What You Will Do:
Team Leadership & Scheduling
- Support the Manager in directing the daily work of housekeeping attendants across all assigned shifts and areas
- Monitor staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage including peak periods, evenings, and weekends
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to communicate priorities, special events, VIP arrivals, and inspection results
- Provide real-time coaching, recognition, and corrective feedback to maintain team performance and morale
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new housekeeping team members
Quality & Inspections
- Conduct thorough daily inspections of all club areas including spa suites, locker rooms, lounges, fitness areas, restrooms, corridors, and offices
- Ensure all areas consistently meet Kith Ivy luxury presentation and hygiene standards
- Identify and escalate maintenance issues, safety concerns, or equipment failures promptly
- Monitor adherence to cleaning procedures, chemical handling protocols, and OSHA standards across the team
Inventory & Operations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, guest amenities, and housekeeping equipment
- Coordinate with Housekeeping Manager and vendors to ensure adequate stock levels without overordering
- Track usage patterns and identify opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising quality
- Oversee the readiness and cleanliness of all housekeeping carts, closets, and back-of-house areas
Cross-Departmental Coordination
- Partner with Spa, Front Desk, F&B, and Events teams to coordinate housekeeping support for member events, VIP arrivals, and same-day room turns
- Communicate maintenance needs and facilities issues to the appropriate team in a timely manner
- Support a seamless and invisible member experience by ensuring housekeeping operations never disrupt club ambiance
Who You Are:
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel, spa, or private club environment
- At least 1 year in a supervisory, lead, or team coordination role
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemical safety, and luxury presentation standards
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to supervise a team across multiple areas simultaneously
- Professional, service-minded demeanor with strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Facilities/Maintenance experience is a plus!
Compensation
$20 - $25 per hour.
