Court Services Supervisor – Full Time, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
The Center for Prevention of Abuse (CFPA) is seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a full-time Court Services Supervisor. Our mission at CFPA is to help all people live free from violence and abuse, and our Court Advocate Supervisor is essential in bringing that mission to life.
The Court Services Supervisor coordinators and provides court advocacy services to clients in relation to the Illinois Domestic Violence Act (IDVA). The primary responsibilities include providing staff, intern and volunteer supervision through effective communication, training, scheduling, coaching and corrective action to ensure compliance with accountabilities, policies and procedures. The Court Services Supervisor provides information to clients about issues of domestic violence, orders of protection, IDVA, local court procedures and agency and community resources.
The Court Services Supervisor facilitates community education efforts and establishes networks with referral agencies as well as routinely reviews client files to ensure accuracy and completeness and maintains accurate data and timely documentation for agency and funding source reports and insure confidentiality of agency information.
A bachelor’s degree in education, social work, social justice, legal studies or a related field is preferred. At least one year of management/supervisory experience is preferred as well.
Must be passionate about CFPA’s mission, good written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate flexibility and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
