Overview:
This role is charged with implementing and facilitating the support and service to the unique needs and transition points of Alternate Visa Program nurses at Interstaff. At times this role will serve as the direct contact for the nurse, at times crafting and providing education and resources as guidance, at times connecting the nurse with appropriate team members to provide support, and overall ensuring timely and accurate communication and coordination in and across these unique nurse journeys from post-contract signature, to working on assignment, to the AOS process and securing a Green Card. This role will also leverage input and updates from Programs and Immigration, coupled with nurse feedback to execute the design of AP support and experience, help identify improvements to services, and play a role with future implementation of new visa programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the “intake” process for nurses (once signed), including but not limited to crafting and tracking communication, monitoring questionnaires and Thinkific courses, hosting meetings, and coordinating with colleagues to ensure clear next steps are assigned and action taken.
- Work with several teams (Immigration, Client, Programs, and Working NXP) to make sure the intake process and subsequent service points reflect the partnership agreement, work authorization and visa status requirements, and necessary steps to move the nurse towards first day clearance.
- Ensure communication and resources are shared with F1 nurses and student support personnel regarding degree program options, timelines, tuition payments, enrollment and other registration tasks.
- Coordinate with the Immigration and Migration teams to track and execute Adjustment of Status processing. This includes addressing unique cases, overseeing eligible nurses for action at key milestones, identifying integrations with other team support, and monitoring progress.
- Assist the WNXP, Client, and Clinical teams in flagging nurses at transition points near the end of their contract, either as they near assignment completion or receiving their green card. Playing a key role in bringing awareness and understanding to specific nurse dynamics to ensure we provide the best options and plans for these nurses further in their Interstaff tenure without GC’s.
- Receive and review feedback across surveys, check-ins, and other potential virtual/in-person gatherings to cultivate and provide suggestions for process and service design improvement, while also being prepared to follow up with nurses regarding their feedback.
- Work across the NXP Team, and other teams, to provide education about the AP nurse experience, elevate team understanding, and ensure relevant resources are provided. This could include assisting with crafting communication and resources for other teams to execute service and support.
- Manage and oversee maintenance and engagement in visa type specific Thinkific communities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of engagement strategies and experience building initiatives, in collaboration with the Transition and Community teams and shared goals.
