Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks with attention to quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales transactions
- Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their experience
- Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks, ensuring adherence to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with health regulations
- Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and receipt issuance
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness throughout shifts
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in retail or food service environments preferred but not required
