Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy using basic math skills and retail math principles
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to coordinate food and beverage delivery during busy service periods
- Uphold responsible serving practices by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to alcohol service regulations
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions by setting up bar stations and serving guests promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightlife venues, or banquet settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to sales, cash handling, and retail transactions accurately
- Experience working in hospitality environments such as nightclubs, catering events, or retail food service is preferred
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends is a plus for enhancing guest offerings
