Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated High School Principal/Guidance Counselor to lead our educational community with energy, vision, and strategic insight. Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating school environment that promotes academic achievement and personal development
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to set goals for school improvement, student achievement, and community engagement.
- Manage the school’s budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support educational programs and extracurricular activities.
- Supervise faculty and staff through mentoring, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive guidance programs that support students’ academic planning, career exploration, social-emotional well-being, and college readiness
- Serve as a public speaker at events to promote the school’s mission, achievements, and initiatives within the community.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and district officials to address student needs and improve overall school performance.
- Ensure compliance with educational policies, safety regulations, and accreditation standards while maintaining open communication channels across all stakeholders.
Experience
- Preferred experience in education administration with a strong background in managing high school operations
- Extensive management experience supervising teachers and support staff in a leadership capacity.
- Experience working directly with students in counseling or guidance roles to support their academic and personal growth.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to motivate staff, students, parents, and community members.
- Prior involvement in fundraising activities or community outreach initiatives is highly desirable.
