About the Role
We're hiring a Service Technician to join our Charleston crew. This is a full-time, outdoor, physically demanding job. You'll operate professional-grade pressure washing equipment, handle residential and commercial jobs, and represent Rolling Suds on every property you step onto. You'll report to our Head Technician / Shop Manager and be part of a small, tight crew where your work directly impacts the customer experience and the company's reputation. What You'll Do
- Operate equipment: run hot and cold water pressure washers, surface cleaners, and chemical injection systems on residential and commercial jobs.
- Deliver quality results: clean driveways, decks, siding, roofs, fleet vehicles, parking lots, and building exteriors to Rolling Suds standards — every time.
- Handle customers professionally: be respectful and polished when interacting with homeowners and commercial clients. Leave a good impression.
- Maintain your equipment: keep all assigned gear clean, properly stowed, and in working condition. Report any issues to the Shop Manager immediately.
- Follow safety protocols: wear all required PPE, handle chemicals correctly, and operate equipment safely without exception.
- Document your work: complete accurate job notes and report completion status daily.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 1-2 years of experience in a physical trade, outdoor work, or service role — landscaping, construction, cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, auto detailing, or similar
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work a full 40-hour week including one weekend day (Friday or Saturday required)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions — heat, humidity, and occasional heavy lifting
- Professional and respectful when interacting with customers
- Comfortable learning new equipment and techniques quickly
Preferred (nice to have, not required):
- Prior power washing or pressure washing experience
- Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment or trailers
- Background in customer-facing service work
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour depending on experience
- Performance Bonus: additional pay tied to job quality and customer satisfaction metrics
- Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week — Monday through Saturday (one weekend day required)
- Equipment: company truck, trailer, and all equipment provided — you bring the work ethic, we provide the tools
- Growth: strong performers are the first considered for lead technician and shop manager opportunities as we expand
