The Machining Technician is responsible for ensuring that our equipment and systems are functioning properly, performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and repairing any problems that arise.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct routine inspections of facility systems and equipment

Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment, systems, and machinery

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and adjusting equipment

Perform repairs on equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Coordinate with other departments to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively

Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs performed
-
Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures

Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures

Maintain customer and MASS Quality requirements

Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Contributes to the department’s team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPEREINCE
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Technical degree or certification in a related field preferred
-
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
-
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Familiarity with hand and power tools

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at the appropriate level across the organization.

Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-
Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese preferred
-
Ability to commit to a flexible schedule and prompt arrival to scheduled shifts.

Ability to follow verbal instructions
-
Ability to be cross trained in other departments to help with unexpectedly high demands.

Required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Required to wear PPE when in the production area
