Clinical Care & Assessment
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for patients age 7 and older to determine diagnoses, treatment strategies, and care coordination needs
- Provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring psychiatric and medical conditions
- Prescribe, monitor, and evaluate pharmacologic treatment strategies; adjust medication regimens based on clinical response and laboratory findings
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests and diagnostics; base clinical decisions on findings
- Provide brief psychotherapy and psychoeducation to patients and caregivers, including informed consent, medication benefits, risks, side effects, and alternatives
- Apply validated clinical tools (e.g., PHQ-9, CSSRS, CANS) to guide diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication decisions
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete medical records for all patients in our EHR
- Complete concurrent clinical and billing documentation that meets professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements, and appropriate coding standards
- Remain in compliance with all state laws and regulations for PMHNP practice, including supervised hour requirements, CME credits, and applicable licensure standards
- Ensure all documentation reflects clinical reasoning, not just outcomes
Care Coordination & Collaboration
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases; escalate to higher levels of care when clinically indicated
- Communicate professionally and promptly with patients, caregivers, PCPs, schools, agencies, and specialty providers to ensure coordinated treatment planning
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to ensure timely patient access to care; meet applicable productivity standards
- Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and quality improvement initiatives as required

Founded on a commitment to accessible, evidence-based care, we serve Colorado communities across commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and Tricare. Our team of board-certified PMHNPs operates in a 2,600 sq. ft. clinic built for collaboration, clinical excellence, and belonging.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
