Responsibilities
- Accurately select items using barcode scanning for logistics and order fulfillment purposes
- Operate material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools safely and efficiently
- Pack products securely following quality control standards to prevent damage during transit
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, replenishing supplies, and conducting regular stock checks with RF scanners
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow shipping & receiving procedures to ensure timely dispatch of orders and proper documentation of all transactions
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred
- Certification or experience with forklift operation, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and heavy equipment handling
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems (IMS) including barcode scanning technology
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safety guidelines and PPE use
- Strong attention to detail for order picking, packing, quality control, and inventory accuracy
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
