About the Firm
Natasha Hanna Law is a growing personal injury and real estate firm serving Horry County and the Grand Strand. We hold ourselves to a white-glove, hospitality-driven standard of client service—anticipating needs, responding promptly, and making every client feel like our only client—and we run a tight, well-documented operation. If you take pride in precision, follow-through, and elevated client care, you’ll fit right in.
The Role
We’re hiring a Pre-Litigation Paralegal to own two case lifecycles side by side: personal injury claims from intake through settlement, and South Carolina workers’ compensation claims from the first report of injury through Commission resolution or clincher. This is a role for someone who thrives on organization, deadlines, and ownership and that enjoys being rewarded based on ability and drive to succeed.
What You’ll Do
Personal Injury
- Manage client intake and onboarding, including new client interviews and documentation.
- Request, track, and follow up on medical records and bills
- Build and organize settlement demand packages
- Coordinate the post-settlement process from release through disbursement
Workers’ Compensation
- Prepare and file documents with the SC Workers’ Compensation Commission, including Form 50 claims, hearing requests, and related filings
- Track the treatment timeline—authorized treatment, temporary benefits, MMI, and impairment ratings—and calendar Commission deadlines
- Calculate and verify average weekly wage and compensation rates
- Coordinate independent medical evaluations and gather records for hearing preparation
- Assist in preparing cases for hearings before the Commission and in finalizing clincher agreements
Across Both Practice Areas
- Open, organize, and maintain case files within our case management system
- Maintain consistent, high-quality client communication throughout the case
- Keep matters moving and deadlines met through disciplined file management
What We’re Looking For
- Prior personal injury and/or South Carolina workers’ comp paralegal experience strongly preferred
- Extensive use of case management software; Smokeball experience is a plus
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication; you’ll be client-facing
- A self-starter mindset: you anticipate the next step and execute without hand-holding but work well together with a team who is there to support one another.
- Discretion and professionalism with confidential client matters

- A well established firm that invests in clear systems, training, and modern tools (including AI)
