Overview
We are seeking a Class B dump truck driver. Must be capable of driving a manual transmission, please do not apply if your license is automatic restricted. Job is seasonal, there is occasional work in the winters, some winters are better than others, but not enough to keep someone going full time year round. Will offer assistance in offseason.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Manual Class B dump truck to deliver construction materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the dump truck.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials using equipment like excavators, loaders, backhoes, or dozers when necessary.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols on and off the road.
- Communicate effectively.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Class B designation required; experience operating dump trucks is essential.
- Experience preferable but not required.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment confidently and safely
- Knowledge of construction materials transportation regulations.
We are a small home grown business, no micromanagement or nonsense, just come and do your job. Offseason isn’t guaranteed work, so we offer assistance in off season.
Driver will be well compensated for hard work. Christmas bonus and yearly raises offered.
The more experience you have the more your starting rate will be. State jobs can pay up to double your hourly rate.
