Summer Palace is the first cocktail omakase bar in the bay area. Join our vibrant team as a Server/Bar Back and become a vital part of delivering exceptional guest experiences! In this energetic role, you will support the front-of-house operations by deliver beverage service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring smooth service flow.
Compensation: hourly pay+ tip
Duties
- Support bartenders by restocking supplies, preparing garnishes, and maintaining cleanliness of the bar area
- Delivering beverages efficiently to enhance guest satisfaction
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations
- Ensure guest relations are positive by providing friendly, attentive service and promptly addressing guest needs
Requirements
- Prior experience in bar service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
- Demonstrated cocktail experience and spirits knowledge
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
