Position Available
Roving Patrol Security Officer (Part-Time)
Schedule (20.5 Hours/Week)
- Tuesday: 7:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- Wednesday: 7:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- Thursday: 7:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- Sunday: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Florida Class "D" Security License
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Clean driving record (no moving violations within the last 3 years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with report writing
- Comfortable using technology and security software
- Ability to multitask and respond effectively in emergency situations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of assigned properties
- Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and incidents
- Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Monitor and control access to the property
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and clients
- Work collaboratively with fellow officers, supervisors, and law enforcement when needed
