American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical ICU (MICU) position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and active ACLS and Epic proficiency.

Work in a 10-bed Medical ICU (MICU) at a 426-bed short-term acute care hospital that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System

Level II Trauma Center setting
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)

Every other weekend required
-
Floating required as needed
-
Charting is performed in Epic
-
Free parking available on-site
-
Active CT or compact RN license required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

Epic EMR experience required
-
Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates (local candidates not eligible for this position)

Must not have any prior disciplinary actions on nursing license

1 professional reference required for consideration

Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted

COVID vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions may be considered

13-week contract

Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler

Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved by the facility

Travelers may be expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
