Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Administrative / Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth coordination of construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for the construction industry. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to facilitate efficient project execution, manage documentation, and support scheduling and cost control efforts. Construction experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain project and company schedules
- Coordinate scheduling with our team, subcontractors and vendors
- Order construction materials and coordinate deliveries
- Request pricing and quotes from suppliers
- Solicit bids from subcontractors and follow up on outstanding bids
- Compare vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Assist with project estimates and material takeoffs
- Help prepare estimates, proposals and job information
- Track materials, lead times and upcoming project needs
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Communicate with field personnel, vendors and subcontractors
- Follow up on outstanding items and help keep projects on schedule
Who We're Looking For
You don't necessarily need a construction background. We're more interested in finding the right person and teaching them the construction side of the job.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Bilingual is a huge plus
- A strong communicator
- Comfortable picking up the phone and calling vendors and subcontractors
- Persistent about following up and getting answers
- Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets
- Good at prioritizing when several things need attention at once
- Able to work independently without needing constant direction
- A quick learner who isn't afraid to ask questions
- Dependable and takes ownership of their responsibilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Construction, estimating, purchasing, scheduling or project coordination experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
