Job Description:
As a Security Officer / Concierge, you will be responsible for both maintaining a secure environment and providing exceptional customer service to our residents. You will be the first point of contact for residents and guests, playing a key role in the overall resident experience while ensuring the safety and security of the building.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor building entrances, lobby areas, and common spaces to ensure security and safety.
- Receiving packages
- Provide excellent concierge services, including assisting with resident requests and providing information about building amenities, local services, and events.
- Screen and authorize visitors and vendors according to security protocols.
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property, checking for potential hazards and addressing any security concerns.
- Assist with maintenance requests and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of all activities, incidents, and interactions with residents and visitors.
- Work in close collaboration with the property management team to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security or concierge services required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional demeanor, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Valid security guard license (required) and CPR/First Aid certification are a plus.
- Knowledge of local area and amenities preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Utilize CCTV systems to monitor activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, or observations for management review.
Requirements
- Valid security officer license or certification as required by state regulations.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Proven experience in loss prevention or law enforcement is an advantage.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and monitoring procedures is essential.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
