Accounting/Administrative Specialist

About the Position
HiCon Global is seeking a motivated, talented and detail-oriented Accounting / Administrative Specialist to join our team that provides industry leading test socket and interconnect solutions to semiconductor OEMs worldwide.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal team members, customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to support the deployment of these products.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of client invoices, shipping documentation and related documents in connection with customer purchase orders
- Assisting with the entry, review, and reconciliation of vendor and client invoices
- Research and resolve questions and issues independently and ensure information in all systems is accurate and properly recorded
- Create weekly status reports and job schedule updates
- Maintain production schedules and ensure projects are on schedule
- Create and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
- Support the PO Placement and Order Entry Process for company Purchase Orders
- Facilitate internal communication with team members to ensure a smooth workflow between departments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary in this team environment
- Identify potential problems early in the process and drive resolution of problems should they occur
- Conduct account reconciliation activities, including bank statements, credit card and ledger accounts
- Support product cost estimating, quoting and purchasing
Qualifications
- Accounting experience using Sage 100 software is required (5+ years preferred)
- A degree in an Accounting related field is preferred and experience in an accounting role is required
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet aggressive schedules and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of general electronics and semiconductor industry is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
